Remember my outdoor wedding venue idea? Well lo and behold, this lovely couple attends Kiokee and needed a photographer. We survived the Georgia humidity for their engagement session and had a blast in the process. Somehow the dog stayed place on the rock. Maybe he was hot? Who knows, but it’s cute for sure. Kristine & Calen
June 1, 2010I’ve known Calen for years, so it was a treat to photograph him and Kristine. We wanted to incorporate the motorcycle a bit in the shoot, which his father bought new back in the 70′s. Their wedding is going to take place in Austin, Texas in a few weeks, but I can’t go due to another booking (boo!). I really had no intentions photographing at the big flag in Aiken, but when I noticed they were wearing red and white I just couldn’t help myself. After the shoot we went into the Aiken Brew Pub for a beer, which is why there’s an engagement ring sitting on a foos-ball table man’s head
