Weddings are just around the corner, but for now I’m enjoying my new-to-me Yamaha Vino 125cc. The camera bag fits beautifully on the back rack, it gets 70mpg or so and can do in upwards of 60mph. Thanks to Art for selling it to me for a steal! I’m putting the scooter to good use already. My arms and legs show a funny tan to prove it.

This past weekend this lovely couple tied the knot @ Crawford Avenue Baptist Church and had their reception at the Enterprise Mill in downtown Augusta. The bridesmaids’ dresses were absolutely gorgeous.(oops, i forgot to upload a photo of them) Enjoy some of the first picks from their event.

I nearly fell out of my seat when I saw the image taken above. I’ve been throwing my camera around at slow shutter speeds for a while now, but never did I think to drag it for a shot like this. Anyway, I’m happy & I can’t wait for them to see these.

I had a good time assisting sarah at this one. she’s a blast to work with. But that’s another story for another day.

The other week a great community starting up in North Augusta asked me to come out to one of their Music on the River events. (Hammonds Ferry) Music was delivered by Pat Blanchard and tapas was created by Manuel’s Bread Cafe.

I really enjoy that area. Combine the greenway path that snakes through neighborhoods, a disc golf course and it’s a hop skip from downtown Augusta.

This event was a bit different, but I’m totally enjoying the pr/promotion aspect of photography.

One of the events to cover for the Augusta Ballet was this past weekend, “Tap Into Potential”. It was held at the Warren Road Community Center and was a real treat to watch the kids kick back, up, left and right. They conveniently watched the film Happy Feet. Ironically the kids looked like they were on an ice rink and not a tap dance floor. Those shoes are awfully slick.

Thank you everyone who came out and participated in the Summer Solstice Stroll in downtown Augusta, Georgia. Over 250 people came through Zimmerman Gallery Friday night and I probably talked my head off about these images. Just so you’re aware. Only 10 prints will be made of each image and they can come in a variety of shapes, sizes and mounting options. If you’re like to go bigger, the biggest prints I can do right now are 30″ x 40″

I’m finishing up a wedding & a bar mitzvah now and about ready to take on the month of July with a few family sessions, a fashion show and a few other things. If you’d like to squeeze in an engagement, bridal or anything else now’s the time to get it booked.
